Had a great day climbing the beautiful rocks of the bluff. Last time I was here was a couple of years ago when Josh and I went hiking around and previous to that was four years ago when I took AraPiggy hiking! This had been on my list of climbing spots, but I don’t really rope climb much sooo there’s that.
Josh is good at lead climbing and belaying. I, however, am not. Have I mentioned before I prefer bouldering? haha. But, in recent years, I’ve taken more of an interest in rope climbing as it opens a lot more climbing routes and places – so here we are – rope climbing.
Besides, there’s no beating the views at the end of a rope climb – that’s for sure. And, I am all about the remarkable views.
After a nice day of climbing rocks, we headed to one of our favorite spots to watch the Fourth of July fireworks – the river!
This time of year is always so busy – but I’m glad we still got some climbing in and hang out time with friends.
