Madison, Wisconsin and surrounding Areas
What a Summer it has been full of emotions. The latest whirlpool of emotions has been this week long – and counting – of flooding in the Madison and surrounding areas. It first began with last Monday, Aug 20th, 2018. Several media sources report we received an estimated 3-15 inches of rainfall in a 24 hour period, depending on location. Since this record rainfall, the aftermath has kept everyone on their toes, hoping for no more rain… at least for a little while.
Due to this severe weather, the Dane County Emergency Management and the city of Madison have created new links in their websites with resources to help our community.
