As National #EMSweek comes to a close, I have to tell you:
- I’m happy to have found out that my license expiration date has been extended, and won’t be due for a refresher by June, as initially anticipated. It’s been on my “stressors” list since COVID began.
- I am so thankful for the supportive community we live in.
- I am grateful for every single one of my colleagues who are friends and who have become an extended family.
Yes, these are unprecedented times, but like most of us in EMS, I wouldn’t trade this profession.
Be kind, stay humble, check on each other, keep learning and above all, keep on thriving, EMS community, you’re all gold stars in my book (did I date myself? is this a thing anymore?!)
