I feel so silly after realizing how easy the process is to donate hair. I cannot believe how long it took me to do this! Regardless, I am so glad my coworkers suggested it. So for my birthday this year, I decided to donate my hair for the first ever.
The process was very simple. My stylist asked me how many inches I wanted to donate, she took 14 inches off, then 1 more inch to style it, put the ponies in a bag and sent them off! Some places will give you the ponies for you to mail, which I would’ve also been happy to do but this worked out great.
I’ve never dyed my hair, and she thought it’d be fun to put some highlights in. They look great.
Thank you to Sheena for giving my hair life again and helping me with this project. I can’t wait for the next donation.
