If you read my previous post you know that Michael’s, the kiddo I’m riding for during the Great Cycle Challenge, and my photo were shown on the big screen at Times Square in New York.
IT WAS A BIG DEAL and not only because we got to show off our best smiles 😉. But, because the kids got to see themselves on the big screen, bringing some joy during some of the most difficult times in their lives. It meant the world to me when my co-worker told me that Michael loved seeing his picture on the screen. Being able to bring a minute of peace and happiness made this challenge worthwhile and it’s just getting started!
I am looking forward to the rest of this month as I ride 250 miles, and raise some money for the Children’s Cancer Research Fund.
